Pre-op Screenings

Ivy Urgent Care offers pre-operative screening services for your convenience. We will perform all the tests your surgeon requires, and provide all the necessary documentation up until the day before your surgery, to make sure you don’t miss that surgery you’ve been waiting so long for. Smokers and patients with multiple medical problems, including obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease, may need a more extensive cardiac workup, so come in at least 7-10 days before your scheduled surgery.

Travel Medicine and Vaccinations

Staying healthy during an international trip is as important as buying tickets or remembering your passport. Using the most current CDC and WHO recommendations, Ivy Urgent Care helps patients prepare for a safe and healthy trip by discussing their destinations and itinerary and making the necessary recommendations for the vaccines and medications they may need to stay healthy. For safest results, patients should schedule their consultation 4-6 weeks prior to their departure.
